Cura produces blow- and injection moulded components and assembled products for markets related to healthcare, early life and medical nutrition for both humans and animals. Our electric manufacturing machines are equipped with state-of-the-art vision cameras that can detect all deviations in the manufacturing process. Moreover, the manufactured components are assembled fully automated and robotized processes without human intervention, reducing any cross-contamination risks. In- and offline quality control secures the highest quality for the products manufactured by Cura. On specific requirements we can offer the possibility of product irradiation as an additional process to guarantee commercially sterile products. Cura has decided to increase the production capacity for orthodontic shaped Teats, or ortho teats

Our ortho teats made from TPE are one of the best teats on the market. Orthodontically shaped teats are the standard for quite some time. Nowadays, it requires more then just an orthodontic shaped teat. It’s the mix of shape, material and in-use behaviour which create the right consumer experience. We know that a consistent flow-rate is one of the key success criteria for a teat. That’s why we have developed our flow rate caerefully and monitor it continuesly within our production. On top of consumer acceptance, also cost and sustainability play a role in selecting the right teat for your brand. In that respect, Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) teats have several advantages over latex or silicone teats. Since 1 June 2023, Cura Packaging BV has been carved out of Scholle IPN which was acquired by SIG. Cura will build on a long history of supplying sterile feeding systems for medical use. To continue as an independent standalone company allows Cura to determine a sharp strategy and focus on strengthening the core principles of safe and high quality sterile feeding systems supplier for medical applications.
